Yahoo is a combination of breaking news, email service and websites searcher. Yahoo’s main screen shows us the Yahoo logo, in the upper side of the page, followed by search tools. These are a blank space for placing keywords, a web search button to start the respective search, and some tabs: web, images, local, video, shopping, and more. As most of the other searchers do, Yahoo brings the mentioned tools for finding what really wants to be found. If a person wants to see only images or videos, and not websites, those tools are really necessary. A search using Yahoo takes only a few moments.
As I mentioned in the first line of this entry, Yahoo is also an email service. In fact, is one of the oldest email services and has changed a lot among the years. For example, some years ago there were only possible to save a little amount of email messages, but now you can save a great number of them, even if each message contents videos, presentations or galleries. For using the Yahoo mail service you have to enter in the Yahoo.com website and then mark the mail tab. Once this action is done you will see your inbox, drafts, send, spam and trash folders. Also, there is a Welcome message in the center of the screen and some relevant news.
Yahoo has an useful selection of services. These are listed at the left side of Yahoo’s website, and some of them are: Yellow pages, Answers, Finance, Cars, Music and Groups.
