Shorten Links, Share Content. Snip.ly is an URL shortener and a way to cut text and share it directly on Twitter, Facebook or via email.

How it works?

First you provide a link or URL in the respective space. Then you will see a new window which allows you to select the parts of the article that you want to cut to share. There is the Snip button which will shorten the URL.

Why to shorten an URL? That's because some URLs are too large, so its easier to share a short one. In addition, Snip.ly is a good summarizer to share pieces of content on social networking sites.
