Blogjoints is where blogging and social bookmarking join. This happens because this community allows you to publish any thing that you want to publish regarding pages, services and other information that you have found in the web.

The site presents a welcome screen with the latest news. The first time I got to the page I supposed it worked in a very similar way than Mixx or Digg. Well, I was right because the goal there is to share news in this way: you find a link, so you publish it in Blogjoints followed by a description.

In addition, the page is similar than the common blogs because it allows users to make comments on every post.

I am a fan of sites like Mixx and services as Yahoo Buzz. Totalpad is like those: it's a page where you can publish social bookmarks. Social bookmarking is one of the most popular activities in the WWW. It consist on writing short summaries of articles, videos and webs that have been published before and adding those summaries a link to the original source.

So, on Totalpad.com you can share that information where it's mentioned the new winner of a championship, or the new president, or highlight the latest MP4 player.

The page allows any user around the world to publish his or her bookmarks. Each of these has a description or summary, category and a direct link to the original site.

Sometimes people use Facebook and Twitter to publish bookmarks too, so you can imagine how extended is the concept of social bookmarking in the web.
