Imo.im works as Yahoo Messenger or Windows Live, but it doesn't need to be installed on the computer. Therefore, this service is considered an Instant Messaging service which users access from their web browsers (Mozilla, Chrome, etc). Among the messenger services that the users can log in there are MSN and Yahoo, and it can be seen two Social Networking sites too, which are MySpace and Facebook.
The page is very similar than other Instant Messaging services such as Ebuddy and Meebo due to its format. However, one of the aspects that makes Imo different is that it is available in other languages.
