Flash content appears better on Google

Google said some days ago that it has made improvements to better recognize and index pages (make sites appear on the search engine) that use JavaScript to embed SWF (flash) content.

The company in collaborating with Adobe has been improving its ability to index Flash content for the past two years.

Google has also made improvements in its video indexing technology, so it is now better at detecting when a site has a video.

Nevertheless, the technology needs more development to compete with HTML content, which is more used.
