A program like Skype, but free? (for video conferencing)

Skype is not free when users want to perform a video chat between more than two people, so here we have other options to do the same, for free, as Mebeam.net in which people can enter to free video chatrooms and conferencing.

Once you enter to Mebeam you can discover something really, really interesting: you can build a kind of chatroom by just giving it a name and without needing to sign up nor download anything. The created chatroom has a unique link which can be shared with friends and all together an see other's web cams.

I did not find any specification regarding the number of people that can join the chat at the same time, but a post on Yahoo Answers suggests that up to 16 people.

Why not to consider Yahoo messenger too? There users can not only have private video chats with another person but group video chats in the famous Yahoo chatrooms. There more than one person can watch you.

Another that is very popular in Asia, mostly in Thailand, is Camfrog video chat where users can join video chats, watch one user at the same time for free or multiple ones if pay a suscription, and also establish very good quality, speedy private video chats with other users.

This post is to be updated soon to add more options
