Some days ago I got to know that McAfee finally released a patch to solve the problem regarding the McAfee DAT 5958 Update. The patch's name is EXTRA.DAT and by following the next steps you will be able to solve the issue.
1-You need to boot the system in "Safe Mode".
2-Next to that you have to copy the patch (EXTRA.DAT) in c:/program files/common files/mcafee/engine
3-reboot.
