This site talks about a picture and video messaging service provided by Verizon with technology in wireless. The page presents us the product and some of its functions from the first moment but, fortunately, you are allowed to access a section to read more.

This picture and video messaging feature allows users to create and manage pictures and albums of them. To use the application you need to log in to your account in the same page.

To summarize the diverse characteristics of the service here I leave some of them:

 -Create and delete photo albums.
-Share albums with others as if it were a social network.
-Personalize pictures, change their names and move them between albums.
-Print pictures.

As the page itself says it is a page to take control of your photos. In which sense? For example, if you have photos in social networking sites or in your emails you may fell that sometimes is not possible to manage so many photos in different services. So, what Showzey does is to accumulate all the photos that you have in one site. This grants you with tools to divide your pictures in different albums and to share them with people direct in one page.

Anyway, this is something that you can do in Facebook or in your Gmail email. Of course, it takes more time there to array your photos than in Showzey. And, you know, nowadays it's very useful to save some time. You can use Facebook or Gmail to make friends and send e-cards and presentations, but let Showzey solves the problem with your photos.

Www.ondapix.com allows you to pimp your website and also your social network’s profile, Ondapix is a site which shows a good selection of images about topics such as friends or Gothic style. The site is divided between the following categories:

Comments in English
Comments in Spanish
Images
Icons

As you can note, Ondapix.com is simpler than other similar pages, but, actually, it has what is really necessary in sites like this. For instance, once you click the Icons tab there are displayed more subcategories; then, marking one of them allows you to see the icons regarding the category chosen. Each of these contents (including comments and images) contains a code which can be placed in a profile. Some social networking pages as Hi5 and MySpace need these codes to add comments.

Other tabs that are shown inside Ondapix are the following:

Home: This tab is necessary for entering in the Ondapix’s main page.
Images: This option brings access to a large amount of images and pictures (or pics).
Best images: This section shows the most relevant images.
Latest Images: There you can see the newest contents.
Users: There are shown the users which have added contents to Ondapix.
Search Images: This is a useful tool to find images easily.

There is a page in which you will see tons of new photos and images day to day; there is a page like Fotolog and Metroflog, but more complete and useful. There is a website called Flickr. Since the first moment the site invites you to join it. It shows some of its features like adding and unlimited amount of files and sharing with people who come from every part of the world. One of the options that, personally, I use to manage is the Search tool. For instance, if I want to find an image taken in the Amazon rain forest, it's only necessary to write Amazon and then there appears hundreds and even thousands of results. On of the best points about Flickr is that the page shows high quality photographs.

So, to conclude this post, I can say that I consider Flickr a very effective Social Networking site (or social network) based on the vast world of photo sharing communities.
